Under the authority of our Director of QHSE (Quality, Health, Security and Environment), Socatra’ commitment to quality and safety is expressed in multitude aspects of the group’s organization and management team. Whether by its operating and technological procedures, its crew training or by its individual approach, the Company regularly sets down new guidelines in order to meet the benchmarks fixed by either the group and/or our clients.

We comply with all official regulations established by the various worldwide and government authority agencies and works to anticipate new developments and potential projects with the view of exceeding market standards of everyday compliance to excellence.

Socatra was the first French firm to be voluntary involved to receive and maintain the safety SHIP MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION in compliance with IMO Resolution A 647 (16) and quality CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL in compliance with ISO 9002, both issued by Bureau Veritas in 1992. More recent certifications include ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 14001 both issued by BV.Cert.

Clients’ frame of reference are also an intrinsic part of our QHSE management system. From its beginning, Socatra has adhered to the TMSA and OCIMF programs.
